She continued to study at the Krishnamarchaya Yoga Mandiram in Chennai (Vini Yoga), with David Swenson in Hong Kong (Ashtanga Teacher Training Immersion), Advanced Training with Louisa Sear from Yoga Arts Australia in Bali (Hatha Vinyasa Yoga, Tantra Philosophy), Iyengar Yoga and Vedanta Studies with Sri Nanda Kumar at Dayananda Ashram in Rishikesh, Anusara-inspired &amp; Iyengar infused Hatha Yoga and Tantra Philosophy with Sianna Sherman &amp; Sally Kempton in London, “Forrest Yoga” with Ana Forrest in Berlin (Advanced Teacher Training), Ashtanga Yoga with S.V. Venkateshaiah and M.V. Chidananda, in the Krishnamarchaya / BNS Iyengar lineage, in Mysore and with Clive Sheridan and Miranda in Hamburg. Beside Hatha Vinyasa Yoga (certified with Yoga Alliance, E-RYT +500) Eva studied Political Science, Sociology and Contemporary Dance. Since 2012 Eva works as a freelance Yoga Teacher on the South West Coast of Sri Lanka. She collaborates with other Yoga Teachers, selected Spa´s, Hotels and private Villas.       <image:caption>Born in Norway, is a professional dancer and a yoga teacher for more than 20 years. She took up Ashtanga yoga during a tour to New York in 1994, where she had her fist Ashtanga class with David life at Jivamukti. This was the beginning of her lifelong practice and Yoga journeys, which brought her to Eddie Stern, Danny Paradise, Karen Habermann, Louisa Sear, and in 1997 to Mysore and Pattabhi Jois – where she spent three months practicing the intermediate series. In 2001 spent three months with Louisa Sear in Byron Bay learning the advanced A series. In 2002 she co-founded the first Ashtanga studio In Oslo, Norway, Ashtanga Yoga Oslo. Where she was the principal teacher in charge of the Mysore program. The studio hosted many internationally recognised teachers such as John Scott, Tim Feldman, Kino McGregor, David Keil, Prem Carlisi and others. In 2005 she started a two year TTC/internship with John Scott in Cornwall, UK. Inspired by John, she then returned to Mysore five more times and holds a level II authorization from Sharath Jois.</image:caption>

Nik teaches Yin Yoga and its yang counterpart Vinyasa Flow. “My Yin places an emphasis on observing the process What the experience feels like, rather than what it looks like. It’s slow, relaxing and introspective, a remedy for the modern pace of life. When I teach Vinyasa it’s dynamic &amp; flowing. It’s as if the breath is moving the body. Yamuna is a Level 2 certified Acro Yoga Teacher,  and a Therapist with accreditation Level two in Alchemy of Touch – Deep tissue body work. She gives options for students to take their practice further and makes beginners feel comfortable. She opened Total Body Wellness, Inc. in 1997 where she personally tailors programs on an individual basis incorporating yoga, meditation, massage, reflexology, and Reiki.   Passionate about Eastern Philosophy, Pauline is a graduate of Pune University, India. She believes that the practice of yoga should help release layers of the ego to find a more authentic place internally while cultivating strength in the body to calm the mind.</image:caption>

Here she attended classes of BKS Iyengar, BNS Iyengar, Patabhi Joice, and Sivananda tradition time to time. Yet the most important person was her spiritual guru Swami Sita. She learnt yoga as therapy and deepened her integral part of yoga under his guidance.   With teaching experience of sixteen years she offers a wide variety of classes in the Colombo city and surrounding suburbs. Just 3 months after her first encounter, Christina picked up Ana’s book, Fierce Medicine and after reading only the first chapter she knew Forrest Yoga is what she wanted to do and what she wanted teach. Christina dived into the Forrest Yoga style a month ahead of her training, after 6 years dedicated to a strong yoga practice in Vinyasa and Hatha. She graduated as 200h Forrest Yoga Teacher in May of 2015 in Sydney and has been teaching FY in Colombo, Sri Lanka since. She has been practicing for over 11 years and teaching full time for nearly 7. Primarily an Ashtanga and Vinyasa teacher, she is also trained in Hatha, Power Yoga and Yin. She teaches with humour and compassion, as well as deep understanding of yogic theory and philosophy, and a practical, generous way of sharing. Sarah’s classes explore movement infused with breath and intention- expect deep backbends, hip openers and going upside down. She has completed 3 teacher trainings, most recently with senior Ashtanga teacher David Swenson. Having further spent time deepening my understanding of the chakra system, Ayurveda and meditation techniques with Shiva Rea and Demetri Velisarius in Los Angeles and India; and many hours of self exploration on and off the mat at home. This practice has taken me to many trainings, workshops, retreats, classes, beaches, rooftops, parks and decks around the world. Above all I feel a deep curiosity about our human capacity and creative potential and feel humbled to share the essence of my findings in the form of  Sattvic Vinyasa here in Sri Lanka.</image:caption>

He began his journey in health and fitness working as a personal trainer and then went on to qualify in Sports Massage and Injury Treatment , as well as, Advanced Medical Massage. For the last more than 7 years he has worked almost exclusively within the yoga community with yogis making up over 90% of his clients. Stuart has had a dedicated Ashtanga yoga practice for more than 9 years and an interest in anatomy that has spanned several decades. Having already taught Swedish Massage and associated anatomy his love for both yoga and anatomy led to the natural progression of teaching Anatomy and Physiology for Yoga Teacher Trainings. In this endeavor he seeks to make anatomy accessible, fun and above all usable within a yoga context.</image:caption>
