We are delighted to present you this very special offer: It is now possible to take part in the Anatomy Module with Stu, only!
You will be assigned prep work (prior to the workshop) and then participate in eight workshop style anatomy sessions. Besides a student starting point evaluation, introduction and final evaluation, the sessions will cover the major systems and areas of the human body with specific relevance and application to yoga asana.
You will gain an anatomical understanding from which you can gain insight into how individuality represents itself in the performance of yoga asana. Every session will have a mix of 50/50 theory and practical so that you can experience the concepts in your own body.

Stuart has been teaching yoga related anatomy for the last 7 years both on teacher training and international workshops. He has been practicing yoga for 15 years, has a BSc Hons in Health Studies and for the last 10 years has been offering Therapeutic Bodywork exclusively for yoga practitioners.
The underlying philosophy that guides what he shares is that knowledge is of no value unless we can understand how to use it and have use for it. With this in mind the workshops he offers focus on: what makes us individual, how can we understand our limitations and restrictions and how can we avoid injury and create balance. Stuart endeavors to bring as much fun and practical experimentation into every workshop and emphasis's the importance of getting to grips with the concepts rather that getting bogged down in the detail.
Our new rooms right next to the Shala carry the same feel as the Shala itself. Overlooking the jungle, we are offering 8 double / twin share rooms, all with en-suite bathroom, rainfall showers, A/C, balcony and two triple rooms. The room rates include breakfast at our plant based cafe, a drop-in Yoga Class at Sri Yoga Shala and you are welcome to use our Saltwater Pool.
